Some guests experienced difficulty with the noise from the church bell ringing every hour, which may be disruptive for those sensitive to loud sounds.

I got to enjoy the lovely traditional Swabian dishes at the restaurant, and during my stay, I even had the pleasure of dining on the terrace. The location, right next to the impressive cathedral, was truly awe-inspiring.

The elevator was just so convenient, I never got to use my leg muscles! Oh well, maybe next time I'll take the stairs.

I stayed at Hotel Ulmer Spatz for two nights for a weekend getaway. The hotel's location right next to the highest church in the world was fantastic. My room on the 4th floor had a beautiful view of the church and the water supply was excellent. The staff were very kind and the breakfast was enjoyable. I had a great stay.

Located right in the heart of the city center, in the shadow of the cathedral, Ulmer Spatz offered an excellent location for our stay. The rooms, while a bit odd in layout, provided plenty of space and each had a shower and sink. The staff was terrific and the view from the room was amazing. Despite the slightly dated decor, the price was superb for the service and location. We were impressed by the kindness and prompt refund from the staff when an issue with the elevator arose, causing us to check out and find alternative accommodations. We would definitely consider staying at Ulmer Spatz again when we return to the area.
